Today kicked off the first day of CMA Awards pre-taping. I am co-hosting the live red carpet show on abc.com again this year (Starts at 5 PM/C – I would love for you to tune in!) and Monday and Tuesday are full of taping segments, rehearsing, etc.
As many of you may know, October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. This cause is a special one to me as both my great grandmother and grandmother were and are breast cancer survivors. I also know several women who are undergoing treatment for this disease now. Treating breast cancer is emotionally and financially straining to say the least, so I love to support this cause in any way I can and this year I’ve teamed up with Leibish & Co to do it in style.
For the month of October, Leibish & Co launched a THINK PINK campaign on their website in collaboration with Rethink Breast Cancer – an organization dedicated to empowering and educating young women about breast cancer. (Seriously, check their site out for great resources like this article on Nutrition and Breast Cancer – right up my alley.)
All month long Think Pink campaign will offer 10% off any of Leibish & Co’s loose pink diamonds and any jewelry that includes pink diamonds. ADDITIONALLY, $100 of each jewelry purchase will be donated to Rethink Breast Cancer. I’ve been sporting this pink diamond and rose gold pendant since I received it.And while you’re shopping for a cause, join with me in supporting the Nashville Junior League by purchasing a Shop Save Support Card.
You’ll receive 20% off at some of my favorite local Nashville retailers while raising money for numerous community partners in the areas of literacy, human trafficking, and childhood obesity.
Happy shopping friends!
I know what you’re thinking – and I didn’t know I needed a turquoise suede skirt EITHER until I saw this one. (It also comes in red) I think it would be great with a variety of different shoes (block heel anyone?!), but I wanted to pair it with a comfortable pair of flat over-the-knee boots.
I know you guys are probably pretty shocked to see me in something high waisted – it’s so rare that I go that route. (Opposite day…) Unoriginal, I know – but I guess I stick to the Sofia Vergara rule of, find what works best for your body type and wear it over and over and over again. haha
What’s everyone up to this weekend? I’m flying to meet my nephew today in Texas!!!! I’m so excited! Prepare for squishy chubby baby overload on social media! *Insert 5 million heart eye emojis* (@BrennaMader)
I rarely have to dress for a corporate environment, so when I do I often feel lost about what to wear and default to wearing something frumpy for fear of looking inappropriate. I decided to conquer this corporate fear by finding a look that’s easy, stylish, comfortable, and shows my personality. Continue reading
It’s the Friday of a 3 day weekend aka party time aka more fringe. (Did I wear fringe last week too? Yeah I did.) Continue reading
