Wanderlust and Glitter Dust Dan Post

You guys. I really changed things up this week – instead of wearing straight red, white, and blue I changed it to red, white, and grey. Until I started doing these posts, I never knew how patriotic my subconscious fashion sense was! I’m ‘aight with it THO.

I’m also uh-bsessed with anything and everything fringy, so I knew this sweater was a must have! (You might remember seeing it in my “shop” tab of current favorites!) I also knew I had to have these Dan Post “Liberty” boots the moment I saw them. Seems obvious for me right?! I’ll be wearing these babies year around with shorts, dresses, skirts, jeans, leggings, etc. Over all, this is an easy and comfortable look that I will probably be wearing to some outdoor night-time concerts as the weather starts to cool off just a little bit. What do you guys think? Would you rock a crop top and short shorts? Too much? No such thing for a former beauty queen? HA! Thanks for reading, have a great weekend!

Today’s look is quintessential summer to me. I love mixing bright colors and this shade of poppy looks awesome with both turquoise and stark white. I wanted to keep my footwear neutral and I couldn’t be more obsessed with this pair of Joe’s Jeans taupe Macee heels. Today’s dressed up casual look combines some classic summer pieces: linen, denim shorts, and aviator sunglasses. J Crew makes some of my favorite button ups of all time and I have tons of GAP denim. These GAP 1969 Maddie Denim shorts have been my go-to all summer. They have a little bit of stretch and are so comfortable, plus I’m obsessed with the color of the denim. They’re on sale now, so get them before they’re gone! I also love the way rose gold looks with this color palate and my Count Me Healthy by Chelsea Charles bracelet and earrings were the perfect classic accessories to complete the rest of my outfit. J Crew Perfect Linen Shirt, Count Me Healthy by Chelsea Charles, Michael Kors, Rose Gold, Miranda by Miranda Lambert Escapade, Gap, Cole Haan Wristlet, Coach AviatorsProcessed with VSCOcam with f2 presetProcessed with VSCOcam with f2 presetIMG_4588Processed with VSCOcam with f2 presetProcessed with VSCOcam with f2 presetProcessed with VSCOcam with f2 presetProcessed with VSCOcam with f2 preset
